The 2026 FIFA World Cup is shaping up to be the most spectacular edition of football’s greatest festival yet. Running from 11 June to 19 July 2026, this tournament will bring together the global game in an unprecedented celebration of sport, culture, and unity.

For the first time ever, the World Cup is hosted by three countries—Canada, Mexico and the United States—spanning 16 iconic cities and showcasing the game in dazzling venues from Mexico City’s historic Estadio Azteca to MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, where the final will be played.

📈 This edition expands the tournament to 48 national teams, up from 32, allowing more nations than ever to chase football’s biggest prize. Teams are split into 12 groups of four, pushing the excitement into a dramatic knockout stage where the world’s best battle for glory.
